Cecily strong

Cecily Legler Strong, an American stand-up comic and actress, is well-known for her part as a character on "Saturday Night Life.' Her stage career started in the theatre however, she found herself fascinated by comedy after having taken an improv class at the age of nine years old. She hoped to pursue acting her profession however, she soon realized that she was destined for comedy, and shifted her attention to improv performances. Her first stage was on cruise ships with members of Second City Conservatory, iO Chicago as well as other improv groups. Strong continued to perform in popular shows like Chicago Sketch Fest, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, New York Sketchfest, and Virgin Daiquiri, the female-only improv troupe. In 2012, she became a celebrity because she appeared on "Saturday Night Live" in the season 39. She was a member of the cast, co-anchoring Weekend Update with Seth Meyers at first and Colin Jost later. One of her most memorable moments was when she played the character of 'The girl you wish you hadn't started conversations with at a event'. That same year, she made her movie debut in 'How to sponsor a Uterus.
