Kelly Michelle Stables was born in St. Louis Missouri where she performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia gave her a Bachelor of Arts (with distinction) in Theater and Communication. She started her career with the city of Los Angeles as a theater artist, performing and choreographing more than 20 musicals and plays. These included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan and The Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera's The Musical Peter Pan. She also performed seven title roles at LA's Storybook Theatre. In addition to continuing her studies in the art of improvisation with The Groundlings and becoming a company member of Theatre West Kelly also started landing roles on television as well as in films. Her distinct voice and diminutive stature has allowed her to take on a wide variety of interesting characters. She was known to the public for taking on the role of the evil Samara alongside Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. However she's more well known as the bright and bubbly receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly was the regular in the series of TV Land's The Exes, a sitcom that featured a paralegal in the daytime and a party-goer at night. The actress starred from 2011 to 2015. As well as being an Regular on ABC Romantically Challenged where she played the sassy sexpert younger sister to Alyssa Miano. The show also featured her as the suburban mother who is over-stressed in CW No Tomorrow. She sang soprano in several animated cartoons such as Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. Recently, she was seen as the dim but adorable Cloud 9 employee on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. She leads a tranquil private life with her husband, and their two little children. She loves sewing, writing and helping out at school events.
