Luciana Paoluzzi was raised living in Rome together with her mother and father. Luciana Paoluzzi's father is an Italian Army officer. Maria Rota Paoluzzi's mother is the former lover with Benito Mussolini. She does not have any known siblings. Luciana has graduated from her local high-school in the year 1955. She was a student of naval engineering at Milan in the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana as the sole female student in the class, was the first to complete her studies. After two years of study, she started her modeling career. Shortly after that she was offered the chance to be a part of Three Coins in the Fountain during a trip to Rome visiting a close family friend of her father. Her initial husband was Brett Halsey who is also an actor. After their wedding in 1960, they made a movie together entitled Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana received custody of Charles born on 13 June 1961. The couple split one year later. Luciana and Tony Athony dated between 1962 and 1970. Tony Athony played an actor and producer who was influenced by Luciana's contribution to the movie Green Slime. Based on this, he produced and wrote The Spaghetti Western hybrid that became popular.
