Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School in Blackpool. As headgirl, she earned straight A marks in her A Levels. When discussing her Emmerdale appearance Coleman acknowledged she was regretting having not gone to University. Coleman joined a theater company, In Yer Space while during her time at university. The company performed during the Edinburgh Festival for the play Crystal Clear. It also received favorable reviews. She was awarded for her outstanding performance. Coleman is looking to audition for drama college in 2005, landed Jasmine Thomas' role in Emmerdale. Coleman was twice nominated for prizes in 2007. In 2007 Coleman was nominated for two awards, the British Soap Awards as the Best Newcomer, and the National Television Awards as the Most Popular. In 2009, at the British Soap Awards she was nominated in the Best Actress Sexiest Female and the Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman got an award at the TV Choice Awards nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press meeting held on the 21st march 2012, that Coleman will replace Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat decided to choose her for the role as she had the best chemistry with Smith. She also spoke more quickly than he does. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Elle has been in the film industry since 1987. But she's been more well-known on television as opposed to films. Eva's appearances in the TV show The Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and the role of Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami stand out. The part of the character Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children earned her the two Daytime Emmy nominations. This allowed her to showcase her music creativity. Eva is not just an actor, but an entrepreneur and philanthropist. The third man she has married is the father of her daughter.
