Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the United States for the past forty years. Most famously, she is known for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s, she started her professional career as an actor on stage with Bettle Davis' show Two's Company. Then, she appeared on Broadway in a variety of shows until the year 1957, when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. The same year, She recorded her first album of music It's time for Tina. Her first appearance into Hollywood was as Griselda in God's Little Acre, a 1958 drama. The film was met with wide applause. Louise won the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the year category. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her relationship to Lee Strasberg. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, when she signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise had a long and successful career balancing Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying an empathetic in contrast to her glamour-doll image received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary, although she established herself as an accomplished television director on numerous series, including Supernatural & The 100. Born in Essex Ontario, on the 29th August in 1965. The family moved to Toronto around the age of three. The city was her home for the duration of her childhood there and her adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and she has settled down to Toronto since then.
